How to Request Information

Under the Freedom of Information (FOI) program, every Filipino citizen has the right to request access to public records and government documents.

  1. Prepare a written request letter addressed to the Municipal Mayor or the designated FOI Receiving Officer.
  2. Clearly describe the document or information being requested with as much detail as possible.
  3. Submit the request in person at Pagadian City Hall, via mail, or through the eFOI portal at foi.gov.ph.
  4. Receive an acknowledgment within 3 working days. Standard requests are processed within 15 working days.
  5. If denied, you will receive a written explanation and may file an appeal through the proper channels.
